International Village offers no meal plans or food service facilities on the property.
International Village residents may purchase UNEX Meal Plans sold in blocks of 10 meals. One block of meals costs $40.00. You can use this block of meals 10 times at any time the UNEX Café is open. Please go to the International Education Program’s Housing Office at the UCR Extension center (UNEX) Rm. 232 if you would like to purchase a meal card. Their phone number is 827-4423.
As a resident, you may purchase Dining Dollars at any time in increments of $110 at a cost of $100 (a 10% bonus). Dining Dollars may be used same as cash at any UCR Dining location. Dining Dollars are effective from the day purchased until the last day of school for the regular academic year. Dining Dollar balances do not carry over and are non-refundable.
Dining dollars can be added to your card at Commons, Barn, Ivan's, LOGOS, A-I and Lothian Residential Restaurants.
International Village residents may also purchase complete Residence Hall Meal Plans by contacting the A-I Resident Services Office (100 Aberdeen Drive / 951.827.5460), the Lothian Resident Services Office (500 W. Big Springs Road / 951.827. 5972), or Housing Services (3595 Canyon Crest Drive / 951.827.6350).
In addition to on campus residential and retail restaurants, residents are encouraged to try the private food establishments located at Bannockburn Village: the GetAway Café offers a wide array of sandwiches, Italian cuisine, salads, and appetizers and the Sub Station boasts the best submarine sandwiches in the Inland Empire, along with various soups, salads, and beverages.
University Village, University Avenue, and the immediate area are home to the typical fast food establishments, along with offerings of Asian, Italian, Indian, Middle Eastern, and Mexican fare. During the day, the campus also offers a variety of food services in the Commons area.
